The Broad Museum is truly a cave of wonders. Room after room is filled with art treasures. Above are some of my personal favorites, especially Andy Warhol's Marilyn and Yayoi Kusami's Infinity Room. The Infinity Room is currently the hottest exhibit at the museum. People wait hours just to enter. I'm not kidding. I personally waited one hour just to get in the museum and an additional five hours to see the Infinity Room. I know, that's a long time. If you've got the time then this is a must-see exhibit. When in the room, it's certainly an experience. You just take it all in and enjoy the beauty around you. You have exactly forty five seconds in the room, which is a little nerve racking if you want to grab a quick photo. It doesn't seem like a lot of time but it definitely is, just prepare to take a photo and enjoy the rest of your time in the never-ending galaxy. Here are a few tips that I give to prepare you for your personal trip to the Broad Museum.
Tips from Nat
- Try to get advanced tickets to the museum and RSVP for early in the day. This way you can quickly get in line for the Infinity Room.
- If you can't get advanced tickets, you can wait in line the day of to get in. Again, get there early! You can line up thirty minutes before the museum opens.
- Prepare to take lots of selfies and fun pics with friends. There are countless pieces of fun art in the museum. At the end of the day, you'll be struggling to decide which picture to post on Instagram. #FirstWorldProblems
- When going into the Infinity Room, do some intense pic prep! My friend and I were taking practice shots before entering the room. You get some sneak peaks of the Infinity Room before entering and you need to take advantage of doing some quick takes. My friend and I were intensely practicing our photos before entering. Honestly, we were more nervous about getting the best Insta pic then we were for our finals. Ok, not really, but it still pretty nerve racking.
And that concludes my trip to the museum. If you live in LA or are visiting soon then I highly recommend stopping by the Broad Museum. Even if you have to wait six hours, like I did for the Infinity Room, you can check out the museums and attractions near by when you are trying to pass the time. It'll make that waiting period a little less painful.
Until Next Time,
