Was LA Beauty Con Worth Going To? YES!

If I had to describe Beauty Con in three words, they would be "paradise on Earth." The LA Beauty Convention was completely out of this world. From shopping new make up brands, making a fresh flower crown and seeing John Legend, there is no other way than to describe Beauty Con than a complete success.

Photo Opp at Soap & Glory's Booth

Each single make up booth had a special element to it. For example, the L'Oriel booth had this glamorous lit-up pink runway, an Eiffel tower made out of flowers, and a runway photo booth. The photo above was taken at Soap & Glory's setup. Anastasia Beverly Hills had an opportunity to win some of their products with some typical fair games. I won a Anastasia makeup bag, lipstick and a mirror. At another booth, I won a contouring kit. Yay! Practically, every booth was give out samples of their products, had a creative photo opportunity and discounts on their products. The types of products that are sold at LA Beauty Con are quality products. I have been testing the different products given to me and could already tell a difference in quality than previous products that I have used.

Products won from two different giveaways.
At one booth, ArtNaturals had a "make-your own flower crown" table. I have to say that this one of my favorite booths. I bought some charcoal teeth whitener, which I am super excited to try out. I have been looking for some natural beauty products. ArtNaturals is a company that makes all of their product from natural ingredients (hence, the name). Another super natural company that I ran across there was Hello, a toothpaste brand. I got TONS of free toothpaste from them. I have enough to travel with and enough toothpaste for the next year. This company again is a very natural-based company, which I LOVE. Another factor that I consider when buying products is if the company tests on animals. As a vegetarian and a self-proclaimed animal rights activists, I believe it's deplorable to tests on animals to make sure a make up product is safe to use. Most companies are against animal testing, but do it anyways because the county that they are selling to requires it. For example, recently NARS began selling in China and will start testing on animals. Any company that sells in China, is testing on animals. I don't think I will be purchasing any NARs products soon.  Personally, I avoid any brand that does any type of animal testing. What is great is that many of the brand at Beauty Con were vegan or animal cruelty free. Yay!

If you aren't convinced yet, take a look at my YouTube video to see just how AMAZING Beauty Con was. There is no way that I am not going to go next year! It was such a blast! It all felt very surreal. At Beauty Con, everyone is pampered like a princess and it all feels very surreal. I am already counting the days until next year's Beauty Con.

You can see all the goodies that I got at Beauty Con this year. I was given a pair of complimentary tickets. My package was the "Hauler" package. Each ticket cost $250 and came with an enormous treat bag of make up. There is so much more make up than what is pictured. I am not sure what I am going to do with so much make up, but get ready for some reviews.

Cheers,
Natalie Gennaoui
