Behind the Green Door Awaits Your Next Caffinated Adventure

Yes, Los Angeles has another location for bloggers to flock to for the perfect colorful pic. Now, while Green Door powered by Intelligentsia  may have the pop of color you are looking for in your pics, the coffee shop also offers some pretty tasty options. Don't believe me? Once you take a bite out of the perfectly toasted avocado toast topped with cheese and cranberries, you'll definitely have a change of heart.

In addition to the avocado toast, I got some steaming hot apple cider and a vegan coconut donut. Yes, I may have went a little overboard on what I ordered, but I couldn't help it! Everything on the menu looked so delicious and the selection of pastries is truly irresistible. If there is anything that I will come back for, it it's definitely going to be for the hot apple cider. It was the perfect warm drink for the typical "June gloom" weather in Southern California. For those of you who aren't familiar with "June gloom," it is this period in So. Cal where it feels like it's supposed to be warm, but the sky is pretty cloudy and it's a bit cold. By midday, it usually goes away.

And lastly the vegan donut, delicious and tasty. It doesn't matter what the weather is, the vegan donuts are absolutely delish. As I mentioned before, I bought the coconut donut, which I would say was the best decision. The barista recommended the churro donut, which was also was really good, but I think my preference was definitely the coconut donut.

To compliment the scrumptious treats, the coffee shop's ambiance is soothing. It's a suitable spot for studying, a laid back hangout with friends and a casual date. Inside, the cafe is decorated in simplistic earthy and grey tones. You can watch the baristas make your drink very close up, which is made Green Door stand out in comparison to other corporate coffee shops. The café has delicate little decorations on the side of the store. If you have a chance, make sure to peruse through the merchandise. Even if you don't buy anything, it's still nice to see the products they offer.

The vibrant green door will definitely catch your eye as you are driving through the industrial streets of Carson. The outdoor seating for the café is also pretty comfortable, despite the café being on a pretty busy street. The patio is lined with wooden walls topped with little plants. This creating a sort of "barrier" between you and the loud vehicles whizzing by. This is by far, one of my fav coffee shops.
