The Chica in Red

After watching La La Land a few too many times and becoming absolutely obsessed with Emma Stone's wardrobe, I decided to go and search for a classic Hollywood-esque dress of my own. Finding a vintage dress in the age of short shorts and mumu dress isn't the easiest task. When RoseGal reached out to me for a collaboration, I knew that luck had fallen on my side. RoseGal has such an extensive collection of vintage styles that I knew that I wouldn't have a problem finding my Mia-inspired dress.

The design of this dress is simplistic yet elegant. It has an old Hollywood feel with a bit of a modern touch. As much as the look of this is jaw dropping, I was a little disappointed with the quality of sewing for the dress. The top of the heart shaped dress kept folding forward. It was a bit of a hassle having to readjust it every ten minutes. I also noticed a little snag on the dress after wearing it for about 2-3 hours for the photoshoot. Other than that, the material of the dress was pretty good quality. The texture of the material is soft and rather comfortable. The sway of the dress was smooth and so eye-catching.  It's really a one-of-a-kind dress.

If you are in the market for some affordable vintage styles, I would recommend checking out RoseGal. The options you'll find there are endless.

Anyone else have some suggestions on where to buy vintage clothes? I'd love to hear them.
